A New York Zoo Guide for Adults 🐾

This year, I've visited New York four times and explored the entire New York City Zoo system. I am truly in awe of its vast and diverse collection. In my opinion, if you take the time to visit each one thoroughly, it offers a world-class zoo experience. 🌍 Many people, including myself initially, mistakenly think of the Bronx Zoo as the "New York Zoo." This is not accurate. The New York Zoo system is part of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and includes four venues: - Bronx Zoo 🦁 - Queens Zoo 🦌 - Central Park Zoo 🐧 - Prospect Park Zoo 🐨 Each zoo focuses on different species, together forming the comprehensive New York Zoo system. For example, the Bronx Zoo highlights large animals from Asia and Africa, Queens Zoo focuses on American animals, and Prospect Park Zoo features small animals. Each has its own standout species worth admiring. So, from a species-viewing perspective, visiting only the Bronx Zoo is definitely not enough. In my view, you need to visit the Bronx, Queens, and Prospect Park Zoos to truly experience the full scope of what New York's zoos have to offer. 🌟 If you're an animal lover and plan to visit multiple times, I highly recommend getting a WCS membership. A dual membership costs $155 per year, granting access to all four zoos and a 10% discount on in-park purchases. 🎫 #WildEncounters #ZooAdventures #ZooVisits #NYCWeekend #NewYorkCity
