A Quirky NYC Museum Where You Can Sip and View 🥂

One of the 50 Must-Do Things in New York 📍 Hidden inside a stunning church is 👉 Fotografiska New York The world’s largest center for contemporary photography, originating from Stockholm A must-visit for photo enthusiasts, this niche museum 📷 Spanning six floors, the top level is an event space open irregularly The first floor features a coffee shop on the left ☕️ and a photography book area on the right 📖 The best part? You can take your wine or cocktail upstairs to enjoy with the art exhibit A little tipsy, the art seems even more beautiful 😊🥂 May 19th marks the 185th World Photography Day 📷✨🎞️ Celebrate 「World Photography Day」 🎉 Current Special Exhibitions | Three street photography masters with distinct styles 👇 Vivian Maier | One of the greatest photographers of the 20th century The subject of the documentary “Find Vivian Maier,” an unassuming nanny who took over 100,000 photos of American streets in 40 years, only to be discovered and published posthumously, shocking the photography world. This two-floor special exhibition clearly showcases VM’s creative process, very intriguing~ Bruce Gilden | The grandfather of offensive photography Never seen Bruce Gilden’s work before, today I was directly impacted by the large portraits! The master of street photography known for his offense used flash photography to capture close-ups of Japanese yakuza in the '90s. The exhibition is full of confrontational close-ups of marginalized individuals, perfectly embodying a violent aesthetic 👀 Jean-Andre Antoine | Love from New York’s Prince Street The photographer is almost a daily fixture between Soho’s Prince and Broadway, cleverly capturing unrepeatable moments. Antoine has also collaborated with Disney, Cartier, Nike, and Tiffany & Co. Tips for Visiting Fotografiska New York 🕐 Sunday to Thursday: 10:30 AM-9 PM Friday & Saturday: 10:30 AM-11 PM No entry allowed one hour before closing 🎫 Adults $24 / Seniors 65+ & Youth 13-25$18 🎟️ Special Ticket: Early Bird Monday to Friday 10:30am-12pm Adults $19 / Seniors 65+ & Youth 13-25$10 #DivingIntoMuseums #NYCArtViewing #Traveler’sDiaryChallenge #PhotoContest #TravelSnaps #SummerShots #DailyArtShare #SummerTravelPlans #BeautifulExhibitionPhotos
