A Romantic Candlelit Dinner in Upstate New York 🕯️

Today, I visited Stissing House in Upstate New York. The ambiance here is incredibly artsy, with a charming farmhouse vibe that feels so cozy and relaxed. 🌿 Their specialty is wood-fired dishes. We ordered wood-fired scallops, which were absolutely amazing. The scallop meat was incredibly tender and fresh—definitely the best I’ve ever had. 🦀 The main course, wood-fired roast chicken 🍗, was equally fantastic. The skin was crispy, and the meat was tender and juicy. The roasted potatoes on the side were perfectly seasoned. We also had fish 🐟, which was very fresh and delicious, served with cream and mushrooms 🍄‍🟫. It was a delightful combination. Finally, don’t miss their coconut cake 🍰. It comes in a huge portion, and when paired with coffee-flavored ice cream, it’s both satisfying and not overly sweet.
