A Solid CHS Dining Experience 🍷

We had a perfectly nice dinner at this Charleston restaurant, though with a few thoughtful enhancements, it could truly shine as a top-tier destination. 😊 The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were seated promptly—a great start to the evening. I absolutely loved the roasted oysters 🦪, which arrived sizzling in herb butter with a delicate breadcrumb topping. They were plump, juicy, and expertly prepared—a real highlight of the meal. The crab cake was flavorful with generous lump meat and minimal filler, and the spicy shrimp pasta had a nice kick and al dente texture. 🍝 While both dishes were tasty, I found myself wishing for slightly larger portions given the premium pricing. A bit more pasta or an extra shrimp or two would have made the value feel more in line with the cost. That said, the quality of ingredients was clear, and the dishes were plated with care. As someone who enjoys wine, I appreciated the Ken Wright Pinot Noir selection—it’s a lovely bottle. 🍇 However, for a restaurant at this level, serving red wine in larger glasses would elevate the experience. A bigger bowl allows the aromas to open up properly, enhancing both the nose and the taste. Small tweaks like this, along with slightly more generous portions, could easily turn a good meal into a memorable one. 👍 #CHSRestaurant #CharlestonDining #FoodReview #WineLover #DinnerVibes #SolidChoice #UpscaleEats
