A Southwest Creative Restaurant Hidden in a Vintage Furniture Store
Before posting this on Xiaohongshu, I was whether to share this gem of a restaurant that I’ve been keeping to myself 😜 This place was named one of the best Southwest cuisine restaurants in the U.S. by Esquire magazine last year, and it truly deserves the ranking from its ambiance to the quality of ingredients. Both brunch and dinner have their unique charm and are worth a try. What’s even more amazing is that this restaurant is connected to a vintage furniture store, so all the seating is Mid-Century style. You can find lots of vintage furniture from famous designers if you’re into it (though the prices might be a bit daunting). Recommended Dishes: Wheat Pretzel: Highly recommended‼️ Half the reason this place is so 🔥 can be attributed to this appetizer. Their Pretzel has shattered my previous biases; it’s aromatic and crispy, and when paired with the honey and butter that come with it, it’s a perfect match 👍 Bison Tostada: Bison meat Tostada, a very innovative and creative combination. The portion might be a bit small for a main course; it might be more suitable as an appetizer. Elote Pasta: A perfect blend of Southwest-style Elote corn and Pasta, this is also one of their signature dishes. The creaminess is just right, and I personally love it. There’s also a vintage-themed cocktail bar, Bar 1912, in the back, which also follows a creative style. The drinks are decent, but every time I’ve been, it’s been so loud that you have to shout to be heard. It might not be suitable for those looking to enjoy a quiet drink and conversation. #WeekendDiningExploration #DateNightRestaurant #TreasureRestaurantShare #VintageFurniture #Tonightsdinner #ArizonaCuisine #Phoenix #AZFood #Arizona #Phoenix
