My basis for this claim is a stela at Kirishima Shrine. 🌟This stela is easy to overlook. When passing through the approaches from the main torii and the second torii of Kirishima Shrine, you won't see this stela. And when you get to the third torii, the worshippers' attention is focused on the main shrine of Kirishima Shrine not far away. 🌄 The "Emperor's Visit Memorial Stela" on the left side of the third torii is easily neglected or passed by. 🌟 As a traveler, I would never ignore such important information. Kirishima Shrine was originally established to worship the ancestors of the Emperor～the descendant of the heavenly deity. 🌄 It has a long history. Although the original Kirishima Shrine was destroyed by a volcano, it was later rebuilt on the current site below the original location and has stood for hundreds of years. #Kirishima 🌄🌟
