A Stop in Cleveland – A City Along the Way 🌆
Passing through Cleveland on the shores of Lake Erie, I didn’t venture near downtown – perhaps due to my travel planning – and my impression of the city was a mix of modest cleanliness and a certain tired atmosphere. There weren’t many distinctive buildings along the streets, and the overall vibe felt somewhat faded. I ended up visiting a local landmark – West Side Market 🏛️. Unfortunately, I missed the morning market hours, so the experience wasn’t as lively as I’d hoped. Still, stepping inside felt like traveling back in time. Housed in a century-old brick-vaulted building, the market is filled with bakeries and stalls overflowing with goods. The vendors seemed relaxed, almost indifferent – as if whether customers bought anything or not didn’t really affect their day 🧀🍎. The air was rich with the smell of sugar, cheese, and meat – all mingling into something uniquely atmospheric. You can wander lazily through the market, taking your time, no rush at all. On the way, I stopped at a Korean restaurant for a quick meal 🍚 – surprisingly, the food was quite good, especially the side dishes! And one more thing I remember: gas prices in Cleveland are very cheap! ⛽😊 #SlowLiving #ClevelandLife #WanderingWithoutAGoal #UnplannedJourney#Cleveland #TheArcade #HistoricArchitecture #ArchitecturalPhotography
