A Stroll Through Tsukiji, Ginza, and Shinbashi on a Day Off ๐ŸŒฟ

Today was sunny but with a chilly north wind. ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽข Three of usโ€”one adult and two middle school studentsโ€”spent five hours wandering and eating our way through Tsukiji Market, Ginza, and Shinbashi. We spent about 10,000 yen (around 480 yuan), once again feeling the impact of rising prices. ๐ŸŒก๏ธ ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒธ Tsukiji Market: The area outside the market was bustling with many Western tourists. Octopus Balls (Takoyaki) Shop: The flagship store had a long line. ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŽข A unique feature is that the dried bonito flakes used as seasoning are freshly shaved on the spot. ๐Ÿ– ๐ŸŒ‡๐ŸŒฟStreet Performers in Ginza: It was rare to see street performers on the streets of Ginza. ๐ŸŽถ First Visit to Meitetsu Sushi: No surprise, it was packed. Definitely the star of the food street. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒธ I used to frequent the branch in Seibu Department Store in Ikebukuro, which was delicious and very affordable. Today was my first time at the flagship store, and the prices were a bit higher than expected. ๐ŸŒ‡๐ŸŒฟ I wonder if it's because it's located near Ginza (with many tourists carrying suitcases) or if it's just the recent surge in prices. ๐Ÿฃ #Tokyo ๐ŸŒ‡ #TsukijiMarket ๐ŸŒฟ
