A Stunning Restaurant in Canada 😍
I’ve had this place saved on Instagram for ages! Finally, I decided to check it out with some friends to grab a few bites and drinks, and it totally lived up to my expectations! 📍Located right next to Zakkushi on Main Street, we made sure to catch their Happy Hour. Let me tell you, everything from the decor to the food and drinks is top-tier! Let’s start with what’s on the Happy Hour menu: 🌟 Lemongrass Chicken Taco: This taco is huge! The taco shell is a bit like a crispy Indian Naan bread. The fried chicken tenders are super tender, paired with some salsa and a refreshing yuzu mustard sauce. The only downside is that the sauce drips a bit, making it a bit messy to eat. 🌟 Fried Shrimp Tempura: With a Vietnamese twist, this one was surprisingly delicious! It’s crispy on the outside, soft and bouncy inside. The sauce on top has a sweet and tangy flavor – super unique! Even the fish sauce dip wasn’t too strong, with a subtle sweetness that balanced it out perfectly. 🌟 Shiso Hito & Melon Cocktails 🍸: Both made with vodka as the base. The Hito has lots of shiso leaves and lime juice, making it super refreshing—my personal fave! The Melon one tastes like a honeydew drink, perfect for those who prefer a lighter drink. 🍈 🌟 Cranberry Beer 🍺: I ordered the cranberry one, and it had a light berry aroma with a slightly sweet and sour taste, so refreshing for the summer! 🌞 Now for the Main Menu: 🌟 Baked Mussels: The cheese layer was pretty thin, so it didn’t have the strong creamy flavor I was expecting. 🌟 Braised Beef: A classic representation of Vietnamese-French cuisine! The beef brisket was super tender and flavorful. It would’ve been even better if the sauce was a little thicker. #FoodHunt #VancouverEats #VancouverBlogger #VancouverFood #VancouverFoodie #VancouverBars #DistrictEleven ### Name: District Eleven Address: 4063 Main St, Vancouver Type: Restaurant ###
