A Surprising Dining Experience
馃挮We drove there, and I mentioned the famous La Calesa. A few hours later, we were led to a surprising dining experience. 馃摲 Our issue might have been that we don't usually eat lunch, as it's our main meal of the day. Fortunately, the aroma of the food enticed us to eat a bit, though not much. 鉁匱o make the meal worthwhile, we ordered steak, the signature dish of this American-style city restaurant. We chose unusual dishes, which they said were their specialty cuts. 馃嵃I ordered a salad and steak, while he opted for a steak salad, a dish not on the menu, so I couldn't join him in finishing it. 馃崫The steak was as tender as they described. However, we prefer our beef well-done, and this one was medium-rare. I tasted a bit of the red part; he refused, though I didn't dislike it. 鈽昑his little detail made me feel like we were in an elegant, high-end steakhouse (by the way, he speaks fluent Spanish).
