A Visit to Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe
Home to the Famed "Miraculous Staircase" ποΈπͺ The downtown area of Santa Fe isn't overly vast, and I had passed by Loretto Chapel several times without stepping inside πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ. πβ¨That was until I did some research and discovered that this chapel houses an incredibly famous spiral staircase... and I just had to see it for myself! To my surprise, there was an admission fee to enter - a modest $5, though it's worth noting that several other churches in the area offer free entry π«π°. But hey, for the chance to witness architectural wonder, it was a small price to pay! π Once inside, the chapel's compact size became immediately apparent . The main attraction, of course, was the spiral staircase, around which visitors gathered in awe π₯π. π¨Legend has it that this magnificent structure was built without the use of a single nail . Whether or not that's entirely true, one thing's for certain: it's absolutely breathtaking to behold π.
