A week in Denver !!!🏙️✨
honestly, it surprised me in the best way! Maybe it’s because I’d recently visited Portland and San Francisco, where homeless issues were really visible downtown… But according to a local friend, Denver invested heavily in cleaning up the city and addressing homelessness, and it shows! 🧹🏛️ The downtown area felt pretty clean and safe, with lots of ongoing construction and new infrastructure projects 🚧👷♀️. Getting around was a breeze – the light rail system is efficient and connects easily to nearby towns 🚆🗺️. The day pass is super affordable too! 💵✅ I will say, grocery prices felt higher compared to my previous trips to the U.S., but nothing too crazy 🛒📈. Eating out was fun – tons of restaurants! 🍽️😊 But be prepared: at decent spots, after tax and tip, expect around $30+ per person 💸💁♂️. Most dishes are pretty carb-heavy with protein as a side, just a heads-up! 🍝🥖 The sky was breathtakingly blue every day ☀️🌌, but wow—the air is DRY. Like, skin-cracking, lips-chapping dry 😅💨… Still had an amazing time though! Throwing in some photos from the trip – no filter needed for those Colorado skies .📸✨ #USA#Denver #TravelColorado #USATravel #Cityscape #UrbanExplorer #LightRail #FoodieTravel
