A Weekday Dinner After Work ✨

After a busy day at work, I met up with colleagues at "Bar Moro"—a cozy little tavern tucked away on a street corner. Pushing the door open, the warm yellow lighting and relaxed music instantly put us at ease.🍷 We ordered several dishes, and surprisingly, none of them disappointed! 🥓 The sliced ham was thin and savory, with a chewiness reminiscent of a less salty version of Cantonese cured meat. 🐟 The canned fish was a surprise hit, especially the calamari and octopus. But I’d recommend going for the cheaper option—we tried the expensive one and found it less cost-effective. For starters, we had bread slices topped with cod and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were incredibly smooth and flavorful, but the bread was a bit too oily.🍞 The Spanish stew was a warm and comforting choice—simmered with tomatoes and spices, it was delicious on its own or with bread.🍲 As for drinks, the cocktails were tasty but limited in variety. The focus here is more on wine and gin.🥂 We enjoyed a few glasses, chatting about life over a light buzz—pure bliss.💬 In summary: This spot is perfect for a light meal before diving deeper into the night. Maybe it’s because we didn’t order main courses? But as a post-work hangout, it was utterly comforting.💛 #TavernExploring #AfterWorkBliss #FoodDiary #SpanishCuisine #LightBuzz #WeekdayDinner #NoRegrets
