A Whirlwind Tour of Germany's Largest Science Museum 🌌
🔬Experimenta Science Center, Germany's largest science museum, is located in the city of Heilbronn. It's about a 30-minute drive from the Tripsdrill theme park, so we included it in our spring break plans. 🔬The museum has one underground floor and five above-ground floors. The top floor features an observatory where you can observe the sun, with only 8 people allowed at a time, and its operating hours are shorter than the museum's, so plan ahead. Floors 1-4 have a variety of interactive exhibition halls on different themes, and each floor also has workshops with different themes where you can create your own works. 🔬The Science Dome on the underground floor offers 3D movies or live experimental shows tailored to different age groups, which require additional ticket purchases, and the 3D movie effects are particularly impressive. There are also periodic special exhibitions on the underground floor; the day we visited, there was a special exhibition called "Mind your Brain." 🔬In addition, there is a science cruise ship called MS experimenta, where visitors can board, tour, and participate in various experiments for a fee of 2 euros per person. It will dock at 25 locations in Germany, with the first stop in June 2024. For specific information, you can check the official website. 🔬If you want to watch 3D movies, observe the sun, experience each exhibition hall in detail, and do some hands-on crafts, I think you'll need at least two full days. Due to time constraints, we really could only take a cursory look. The staff in the museum are all very friendly and patient in answering any questions. The museum is crowded during holidays, so it's best to buy tickets online at least one day in advance. #GermanyWithKids #SpringBreakDestinations #ScienceMuseum
