A Wonderful 7-Day Experience! 🌿✨

My husband and I spent seven glorious days at this inn – easily the best decision of our trip. The room carried the cozy scent of charred wood and offered beautiful lake views. Daily housekeeping was thoughtful and thorough, providing quality toiletries and bottled water in the refrigerator. While the bed and wardrobe were a bit snug for two, and there were some bugs on the outer window, these were only minor notes in an otherwise deeply immersive natural retreat.πŸŽΆπŸ‘Œ Breakfast was delicious and impressively varied: eggs, bacon, grits, fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries – and even gluten-free toast and English muffins for my celiac husband, which was a true highlight! πŸ₯“πŸ“ We also loved the inn’s happy hour cheese board and the pre-bedtime nightcap. The staff were warm and exceptionally attentive. The gardens were stunning, complete with a lake, free-roaming sheep, and even a few alligators! πŸ‘πŸŠ The inn also thoughtfully commemorated its complex history tied to slavery through stories, exhibits, and guided tours – encouraging reflection and remembrance. We highly recommend this place – serene, beautiful, and rich with history. πŸ’š #InnStay #NatureRetreat #HistoricSite #GlutenFreeFriendly #SouthernHospitality
