Abbotsford Nursery & Thrift-Hop

Abbotsford Nursery & Thrift-Hop 🌱🛍️ The moment we crossed into Abbotsford, the first shock was the cheap gas—*so* bad Mr. Wang had just filled the tank 😩. Oh well, next time! Stop 1 – Garden Nursery 🌿 Past experience: Everything I plant dies, so I vowed to just look… but rows of baby veggies and flowers were *irresistible*. Seedlings are a steal—barely CAD 1 each! Seasoned grandmas were wheeling out entire flats like they’re scoring black Friday deals 🛒. I left with a tiny basil plant (fingers crossed it survives! 🤞). Stop 2 – Costco 🛒 New item spotted: Korean BBQ chicken & rice, a hefty box for ~CAD 20 🍗. I *begged* to try it, but my three flavor-conservative companions were sure it’d be awful—so we settled for the classic CAD 1.50 hot-dog combo instead 🌭. Can’t go wrong with that, I guess! Stop 3 – Thrift Store 🧺 Second-hand clothes aren’t my thing, so I bee-lined to the china corner. Delicate teacups had me swooning—pick up, admire, “ooh,” set down 🍵. Mr. Wang eyed a cute set and asked, “Buy it?” “Nope—‘letting go’ starts with resisting the urge.” 💪 Mission accomplished, we headed home—tired but happy with our little adventure! 🚗💨 #FoodieDiary#VancouverDayTrips#WeekendGetawayIdeas#SpringBitesRoute
