About Trying Corn Pancakes at Momofuku in Las Vegas šš„
A while back, while visiting Vegas, my partner carefully picked out a breakfast spotāMomofuku! š§ He did a lot of research beforehand, and since itās pretty well-known, we decided to give it a try. š Hours: Lunch 11 AM ā 3 PM | Dinner 5 PM ā 10 PM (or 11 PM) š Location: Boulevard Tower, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Level 2 Itās tucked away on the second floor of The Cosmopolitan. (We kinda regretted not trying Eggslut instead though⦠walked past it and literally drooled! š„š ) š Momofukuās food feels like typical Asian cuisine tailored for Western tastes. We ordered their famous Pork Belly Bun and a bowl of Ramen š. The buns are pre-made and kept warm under a heat lamp⦠so unfortunately, we ended up with a super dry bun. š¬ They did replace it for us later and comped the cost, which was nice! Then thereās the Corn Pancake š„ ā and yes, itās literally a cornmeal pancake topped with a scoop of ice cream. As someone from Northeast China, I was low-key shook š²āitās basically a fancy version of the kind of corn pancakes youād grab for $5 at a morning market! 𤣠Tasty and wholesome though! If youāre into authentic food or love exploring real flavors, this place might disappoint a bit. It kinda feels like itās meant to introduce Asian-style dishes to those not super familiar with them. Maybe dinner here is better? We didnāt have time to try it. I guess its popularity has its reasonsā¦? Have you been to Momofuku? Was your experience similar?
