π ACRU NYC: Atomixβs Sister Restaurant with $95 Prix-Fixe Menu
Just opened in the West Village near NYU, ACRU is the latest venture from the team behind two-Michelin-starred Atomix β offering a more accessible fine dining experience at $95 for a 5-course prix-fixe (though we ended up with 7 dishes including dessert!). The space is understated, but the plating carries that signature elegant touch. π Prawn Toast A beautiful floral-adorned bite with delicate shrimp topping. Pretty to look at, tasty but not unforgettable. π Bluefin Tuna Thin slices with fig and roe β clean but lacked wow factor. π« White Asparagus Sliced paper-thin with light broth. Simple and subtle β not a standout. π Spanish Mackerel Tender fish served with scallops, peas, and creamy fish liver (the highlight!). Came with warm bread and special butter β cozy and satisfying. π Lamb Leg Perfectly cooked and tender, though portion was small. π¨ Pavlova β The best dish! Crunchy meringue-like base, creamy ice cream, and fruity sorbet β layers of texture and flavor that truly impressed. π¦ Golden Haytime A caramel-coated ice pop β cute but not extraordinary. For the price, ACRU delivers a polished, ingredient-focused meal in a low-key setting. Donβt expect the grandeur of Atomix, but itβs a nice option for a special yet relatively affordable night out. π ACRU β West Village, NYC π° ~$95 per person (before tax & tip) #ACRUNYC #AtomixSister #FineDiningNYC #PrixFixeNYC #WestVillageEats #NYCEats #MichelinVibes #NYCRestaurants #DateNightSpot #FoodieReview #NYCFoodie
