Affordable French Dining in Paris: Bouillon Pigalle (Book in Advance!)

1️⃣ Velouté aux cèpes (Truffle Mushroom Soup) - €3.80 3🌟/5 - The mushroom flavor is strong, but the aftertaste is slightly sour. We ended up feeling like we were drinking sauce 🤣. Recommended only for mushroom lovers. 2️⃣ Brandade de morue, huile d'olive et amandes torréfiées (Codfish Purée with Olive Oil and Roasted Almonds) - €9.90 3.5🌟/5 - A mix of mashed potatoes and codfish purée, with a creamy texture. However, it got a bit heavy for two people. Be careful of small fish bones while eating. 3️⃣ Bœuf Bourguignon & Coquillettes (Beef Bourguignon with Shell Pasta) - €12.20 4🌟/5 - Our favorite dish of the meal! The beef was flavorful and tender, though the aftertaste was slightly sour. Highly recommend this one. 4️⃣ Riz au lait, caramel beurre salé (Milk Rice Pudding with Salted Butter Caramel) - €2.80 3.5🌟/5 - You can actually taste the rice grains 🤣. The caramel sauce tastes like toffee, perfect for those with a sweet tooth! Total after tax: €28.70 Price per person: €14.35 (for one male and one female). 💡 The service was friendly, and the food came out quickly! If you’re staying nearby and want to try affordable French cuisine, this is a great spot to add to your list 🥰. #FrenchCuisine #RestaurantRecommendation #StudyAbroadInFrance #Paris #ParisFood
