Literary lovers, this one’s for you: BookCon NYC 2026 is on the horizon, and you need to dog ear all the details. Though our city is well-stocked with **bookstores** — a new **horror-themed bookshop** just opened in Williamsburg — and we just celebrated a monumental 20-year anniversary of the Brooklyn Book Festival , you’ll never catch us complaining about more reading opportunities. If you want to dive into the world of publishing and fill your TBR shelves, allow us to provide the scoop. All about BookCon NYC 2026 -------------------------- Promising to be a reimagined experience, BookCon NYC is en route to us on April 18th and 19th, 2026 . A product of ReedPop, the event is a “two-day celebration of storytelling in all forms built for readers, by readers.” Essentially, that means you can’t miss out. For the first time, there will be an immersive show floor that will appeal to all readers, plus you can expect intimate author chats, book swaps, workshops, panels, and so much more. Details on special experiences and exhibitions are still in the works, but will be available within the coming months. However, a slew of authors were just announced in the event’s first wave, including Alyssa Cole , author of *When No One is Watching,* Jasmine Guillory *(The Wedding Date),* Kate Bornstein *(Gender Outlaw: On Men, Women, and the Rest of Us)* and Leigh Bardugo , author of *The Grishaverse,* to name just a few. Expect reps from all genres — speculative fiction, romantasy, historical fiction, and more. As more details are released in the coming months, check back for more details. In the meantime, you can visit the **BookCon website for tickets**. Prices range from $60 to $900, but keep in mind, certain packages are already sold out — don’t sleep on this one! 📖 BookCon NYC 2026 🗓️ April 18th and 19th, 2026 📍 Javits Center Source: https://secretnyc.co/bookcon-nyc-2026-returns-after-hiatus/
