After spending five days in Cairo
✈️ Arrived the night before and stayed in Giza. Day 1⃣️ 🌅 Woke up at 9 AM to ride camels at the pyramids and see the Sphinx. Took half a day. Returned to the old city in the afternoon and visited the Cave Church ⛪. In the evening, wandered around Khan el-Khalili market —so much color and life! Day 2⃣️ 🏛️ Visited the Egyptian Museum in the morning (half a day—so many treasures! 💎), then headed to the Citadel of Saladin 🕌 in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoyed fresh juice 🍹 at a riverside park and took a 50 EGP Nile cruise 🌊 (location: 📍People of Egypt Walkway). Day 3⃣️ ⛪ Started the morning at the Hanging Church, then visited the stunning Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan in the afternoon. Had dinner 🍽️ and strolled around Tahrir Square at night. Day 4⃣️ 🛍️ Declared it a shopping day! Began with coffee at the "most beautiful Starbucks" (Nile Star ), then explored Zamalek—such a chic area with hidden gems! Bought souvenirs, ate delicious Thai food at Sabai Sabai , and ended the evening at City Stars Mall 🛒 for snacks to bring home. Day 5⃣️ 📸 If it’s a Saturday, hit the Diana Cinema flea market early—so many vintage finds, especially film cameras ! Bargain hunters’ paradise. After a relaxed browse (1.5 hrs), flew out ✈️ in the afternoon. 💬 Final thoughts? Cairo is perfect for slow travel! If you stay longer, you can: 🏇 Learn horseback riding ⛷️ Try skiing (yes, in Egypt!) 🎾 Take tennis lessons 📖 Study Arabic ...all for super low prices! Plus, visas can be extended for free up to 2 months. Fruit is cheap, life is easy—why rush? 😎 #CairoTravel #Egypt #EgyptTravel #Cairo #Travel #OffTheBeatenPath 🌍✨
