After this barbecue, I decided to move to New Jersey!
Tried this Korean BBQ spot recommended by my Jersey friend đ„© Whoa, turns out you folks in New Jersey eat THIS well??!! The two-person beef combo comes with four kinds of meat đ„©âfrom fatty beef rolls to short ribs, ribeye, and marinated beef short ribsâplus onions đ§ and king oyster mushrooms printed with the restaurantâs name đ Every table has a Korean oppa grilling for you the whole time; the service is way better than Ktown! The portion is even bigger than the $150 set I had in Manhattan before. When we ordered the combo, they brought out a whole table of banchan, plus refillable lettuce for wrapping meat and a big plate of cold salad đ„ Then they brought out doenjang jjigae and soufflĂ© egg custardâwe thought they got the order wrong, but turns out itâs all complimentary! We didnât want to just eat meat, so we added a cold noodle and a (hot plate kimchi fried rice with cheese). Once again, Iâm blown away by New Jerseyâs pricesâthis huge bowl of buckwheat cold noodles is $13, and the hot plate kimchi fried rice is $15. I still remember last time in Ktown, just adding cheese cost $27âsorry, Ktown, but I gotta shade you here đ€ đ„© From the meat platter, I loved the ribeye the mostâsuper tender after grilling, and the juices burst in my mouth! Lao Wang is into the marinated short ribs, sweet with a fruity aroma. The soufflĂ© egg custard has a little cheese on top, so fragrant! In short, New Jersey is such a hidden gem for Korean food!! Never wanna eat BBQ in Ktown again! Okay, thatâs todayâs shareâif I made you hungry, mission accomplished đ Follow me if you wanna see more NYC food and life bits 3 Hope everyone has a happy hump day! #EarthlingFoodReviewContest #NYCFood #NewJerseyFood #NYCLife #NYCDaily #NYCBBQ #FortLee #FortLeeKoreanFood #NewJerseyBBQ #KoreanBBQ
