All the spicy kids in New York should pour this boiling fish on me 😭❗

As someone who’s obsessed with spicy food 🌶️, I’ll be honest—good, properly spicy Sichuan food is hard to find in New York. There are a few places with great flavors, but fellow spice lovers know: if it’s not spicy enough, it just feels like something’s missing. Today, though? I finally found one to share with all my spice-craving friends❗ ✨ Sizzling Boiled Fish I was gonna order their signature Mao Xue Wang, but the menu made me crave boiled fish instead—and thank goodness I did! It’s chef’s kiss—one word: amazing❗ It’s sliced from a whole fresh fish, topped with a thick layer of chili oil, dried chili, and Sichuan peppercorns. This is the closest I’ve gotten to authentic boiled fish from back home in New York. It’s so fragrant I packed the leftovers and added more veggies the next day—still just as satisfying 😋! It’s a huge bowl, with the whole fish plus wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, lotus root, and bamboo shoots. At $30, it’s such a steal~ ✨ Spicy Beef Pancakes Totally indulgent but so good~ The outer layer is crispy, the dough in the middle is thicker, and the best part? Biting into it makes the juice explode—like, “watch out for your clothes” level 💥. And it’s spicy juice! The filling isn’t huge—beef and onion—but the flavor hits hard. One bite hooks you, but it’s rich, so sharing is smart. ✨ Dry Pot Fatty Beef Lao Wang’s favorite 💕. The Sichuan chili bean paste aroma is intense, and the portion is huge. What I love is that besides the fatty beef, there’s green pepper, celery, wood ear mushrooms, lotus root, and bamboo shoots—like a spicy dry hotpot. And again, under $30! ✨ Fu Qi Fei Pian (Sichuan Beef Tripe Salad) First dish that came out, and I knew right away I’d made the right choice ✅. The chili oil is fragrant, and most importantly—spicy enough, spicy enough, spicy enough❗ Topped with crushed peanuts and cilantro—perfection. ✨ Stir-Fried Luffa Even the veggie was great 🥬. No heavy starch, not salty, and you can taste the natural sweetness of the luffa. Generous portion too. Overall, this place feels like it’s made for people who crave authentic Sichuan food—bold, spicy, and not toned down for Western palates at all. ✨ Alley 41 ✨ 136-45 41st Ave, Queens, NY 11355 That’s it for today’s share—if I made you hungry, give it a like before you go! Follow me for more New York life bits. And most importantly—if you’re also a “the spicier the better” person, please recommend me more properly spicy Sichuan spots❗❗ #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodReview #NewYorkFoodRecommendations #FlushingNYFood #NewYorkSichuanFood #FlushingSichuanFood #NewYorkChineseFood #FlushingFood #FlushingFoodReview #NewYorkBoiledFish #NewYorkLife #LivingInNewYork #BoiledFish
