Am I the only one who thinks Cafe Boulud is great? 🌟
I've always been a fan of Daniel's restaurants, and this time, the one-star Michelin restaurant Cafe Boulud was also participating in Restaurant Week with a three-course dinner for $60. I just had to try it! 🍽️ The reservation was a bit tricky, but with some persistence, I managed to get a spot. 🎉 For the appetizer, main course, and dessert, there were three options each, and they even threw in some complimentary amuse-bouches. I gobbled up the amuse-bouche in one bite and couldn't figure out what it was. I also ordered an Aperol Spritz to pair with the meal. 🥂 Appetizer🥗 Options: Cucumber Gazpacho / Marinated Tuna Salad / Burrata Salad I was torn between the two salads, but the waiter said more people were choosing the Marinated Tuna Salad today, so I went with that. The Cucumber Gazpacho had a very fresh and unique flavor, and it was incredibly appetizing. The Marinated Tuna Salad had two types of fish. I personally preferred the one with the skin; it had a tangy flavor that was very refreshing. Main Course🥩🐟 I chose steak and fish; the vegetarian option wasn't really my thing. I asked for the steak medium well, but it came out a bit more medium. The sides and sauce were both excellent. The fish was also very good, with eggplant and zucchini as the sides. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side. Dessert🍰 Options: Chocolate Tart / Passion Fruit Mini Cake / Ice Cream I went with the Chocolate Tart and Passion Fruit Mini Cake. Both were delicious and not overly sweet. The chocolate tart had a rich chocolate flavor, and the crust was fantastic. The Passion Fruit Mini Cake was a great palate cleanser. To finish off the meal, they gave us two soft candies that tasted like hawthorn. #NewYorkLife 🏙️ #NewYorkFood 🍔 #NewYorkRestaurantWeek 🌟
