Amalfi by Bobby Flay Did Not Disappoint! 🎉
I’ve always been a big fan of Bobby Flay’s MESA Grill at Caesars Palace, so I was really sad when it closed. 😢 But the good news is—a new restaurant named after the stunning Italian town of Amalfi has taken its place, and it’s absolutely worth a visit! 🇮🇹✨ One of the coolest features of Amalfi is the mini "Fish Market" area inside the restaurant! 🐟 Guests can pick their fresh fish (not live, but very fresh!) from a variety of types. You can have it filleted or grilled whole. Our group of five ordered two fish prepared two different ways—we chose Red Snapper and Branzino. The Red Snapper has a firmer texture, but personally, I preferred the Branzino. The grilled fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious natural sea flavor. The seasoning was spot-on—so good that you don’t even need sauce! 🍋 Speaking of sauces, there are three kinds, and my favorite was the Salsa Verde. 😋 We also started with grilled octopus as an appetizer—it was pretty good, though not quite as amazing as what I’ve had in Greece. 🐙 The grilled prawns appetizer was delicious! The shrimp were large and super tender, packed with great flavor. Highly recommend this one! 🍤 Dessert was still a bit too sweet for me! 🍰 But don’t get me wrong—the tiramisu was rich, the chocolate cake was moist and dense, and the pistachio ice cream had lots of texture and flavor layers. It was less sweet compared to the others, which was a nice balance. We also tried some pasta and bread—they were solid, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. Have you been to Amalfi?
