The Denniston architectural firm has transformed the Crown Building, located in the bustling heart of Midtown, into the office space for the Aman Resorts luxury hotel group. 🏙️ The Aman New York hotel opened in August 2022, housed in a textile building at the intersection of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue. This building was completed in 1921 by the architectural studio Warren & Wetmore, the same team behind Grand Central Terminal. 🏙️ Jean-Michel Gathy and his firm Denniston Architects (often chosen for Aman projects) have restored and redeveloped this 25-story tower, creating 82 suites and 22 residences. 🏠 🏙️ To create a sense of tranquility and relaxation in the heart of New York City, elements like glass soundproofing are combined with the building's soft, minimalist palette of colors and materials. 🌸 #NewYork 🌃🌿
