This Amankora is definitely not to be missed.🍖 🍖 🍖 Before arriving at the lodge, you need to cross a suspension bridge adorned with prayer flags, which interestingly echoes Punakha's most famous long suspension bridge. Nestled among fields on a hillside, the lodge's public areas are housed in a three-story traditional farmhouse built by a Bhutanese high lama. Inside, there are well-preserved murals painted with plant-based dyes, now serving as a library, restaurant, and office. Since it was built by a high lama, the space exudes an exceptional positive energy—far more profound than that of the guest rooms—making you want to linger longer. This is the only one among the five Amankora lodges with a swimming pool, thanks to Punakha's relatively higher temperatures. The pool overlooks the rice fields, offering a serene and peaceful ambiance.
