Amari | Vegas Food Diary 🍝📓

Restaurant: Amari Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop Meal: Lunch Food Rating: 4.5/10 Back at another overpriced spot in the Uncommons… 😇 🍤 Fried Squash Blossoms (4/10): Stuffed with ricotta, each one was plump—but the batter was thick and oily, and the salt wasn’t evenly sprinkled. Served with a chili-honey dip that honestly felt like a weird match… not sure why this is a recommended dish 😅 🐚 Steamed Clams (8/10): Very appetizing! The broth was a twist on fra diavolo—mild tomato and herbs with a hint of spice. The grilled ciabatta was perfect—crispy outside, chewy inside. Really tasty! 👍 🍝 Rigatoni (5/10): Pasta was too firm but not al dente, the meat sauce tasted one-dimensional, and there was barely any ricotta. 🍰 Tiramisu (4/10): Slightly better than some disastrous versions I’ve tried—at least the ladyfingers were soaked in coffee and liquor. But the cream had too much gelatin, giving it a weird jiggly texture. Way too sweet—and I only ordered it because I saw a Yelp review saying it tasted sugar-free… 🫠 On the way out, the square outside had a weird foul smell that lingered all the way until I got in my car and drove home… 🤢 Have you been here?
