Amaya Mexican Restaurant in Las Vegas ๐๐ฎ๐ด
Spent Thanksgiving break exploring Las Vegas with my parents, and we tried Amaya Mexican Restaurant โ the same spot where Kendall Jenner attended the grand opening! ๐ The interior is designed like a lush forest โ you really feel like you're dining among the trees ๐ณ. And can we talk about the staff? All the servers were gorgeous and super fit โ such a vibe! ๐ Hereโs what we tried: ๐ฆ Lobster Tacos โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Packed with black beans, corn, tomatoes, avocado, and generous chunks of tender lobster. Mixed well inside a classic taco shell โ so fresh and tasty! There was a tiny hint of fishiness, but still a win in my book ๐ซถ ๐ฏ Enchiladas Suiza โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Slow-cooked chicken wrapped in a soft tortilla, topped with yogurt and a tangy green sauce. The chicken had a strong spice rub (it was bright red!), which kinda clashed with the fresh, zesty sauce. Good, but not my fave. ๐ฎ Birria Short Rib โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The beef was fall-apart tender, simmered lightly โ maybe with red wine? โ and so flavorful. Served with what I think was corn mash (not creamy potato โ yay! ๐). It came with a special, slightly oily tortilla that worked perfectly with the meat. A must-order! We were super hungry, and sharing these three dishes left us totally satisfied ๐ ๐ฉ๐ณ Other server recommendations (we didnโt try but sounded great!): Charred Octopus Hamachi Mariscos Al Fuego (shrimp tacos!) ๐ Tip: We went for lunch โ no wait! But at 7 PM the night before, the earliest table for 3 was 8:15 PM. Plan ahead! โณ ๐ Amaya Mexican Restaurant Level 2, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 Perfect for a flavorful, stylish Mexican meal in the heart of the Strip! ๐ซ #FoodieReview #MexicanInVegas #LasVegasEats #TravelEats #KendallSpotting #AmayaRestaurant
