Amazonico Restaurant
In the trendy Serrano area of Madrid, there’s a Spanish restaurant with an Amazon theme, offering a fusion of Mediterranean, Asian, and Brazilian cuisines. Some dishes not only retain the essence of traditional Western cuisine but also incorporate elements and flavors of Chinese stir-fries, making them quite palatable. 1️⃣ As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by this bar, with a vibe that’s so thick you can cut it with a knife. It’s my favorite kind of atmosphere, perfect for sitting at the bar, sipping on a cocktail, and having a chat. Of course, there are also high tables on the street out front for dining and wine tasting. 2️⃣ The entire restaurant is Mediterranean in style, with a fantastic environment that’s camera-ready. 3️⃣ For appetizers, we ordered two salads: chicken and shrimp. Both are traditional Western salads with a slightly sweet twist. The service is excellent; the waiter presents the dish and gives a brief introduction before offering to mix it for you. 4️⃣ We also tried two seafood dishes, one with squid and the other with cuttlefish. The squid had a stir-fried flavor, while the cuttlefish was springy with a teppanyaki twist. 5️⃣ For the main course, we ordered the Chuleton ribeye steak, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. You can choose from a variety of sides, including their signature grilled pineapple, corn, and fries. 6️⃣ For dessert, we couldn’t resist their signature grilled pineapple. It’s so good, retaining the fruit’s natural sweetness and flavor, with a hint of honey water that eliminates any tartness. A must-try: the grilled pineapple! If you’re not having dessert, you can pair it with your steak, but be careful not to overdo it, as it can get a bit sweet. 7️⃣ Another dessert was a sort of silk topped with coco ice cream. 8️⃣ The process of grilling the pineapple can be seen in the dining hall. 9️⃣ Grilled fish! We also ordered a plate of grilled fish, but since it was portioned out by the waiter, I didn’t get a photo. The taste was still delightful, with tender fish meat and Asian-style teppanyaki vegetables. 🔟 The restaurant’s facade is distinctive, but be careful not to get it mixed up with similar-looking establishments with “Amazonico” style and names. #SpanishCuisine #MadridFood #Spain #Madrid #Amazonico
