🥩 Amsterdam | Feast on Meat and Stay Warm this Winter 🔥🥩

🔥As the days get shorter and the weather turns colder, my friends and I decided to head to Cafe Carbon in the south of Amsterdam to indulge in some hearty meat dishes for comfort. 🔥The regular menu offers 9 classic cuts of meat, and you get to choose how many grams of meat you want. This time, I tried the ribs and the lamb chops. The ribs come with a choice of sweet or spicy flavors. Although I opted for the sweet option, it still had a hint of spiciness that added depth to the taste. The chef's grilling skills were impeccable. With a gentle cut, the meat slid right off the rib. The lamb chops were also grilled to tender perfection, drizzled with a delicious sauce that looked heavy on flavor but didn't overpower the lamb's natural delicacy. It was nothing short of delicious and satisfying. We also ordered the beef skirt / Bavette from the daily menu, which was tender and marbled with fat, offering a rich flavor profile that was enhanced by the accompanying garlic and scallion sauce. A successful blind order! For sides, we chose buttery garlic potatoes and crispy sweet potato fries. The former, when eaten hot, had a rich aroma; the latter, paired with truffle aioli, created an explosion of flavors in the mouth with each bite. Price per person: 30-40 euros, enough for 3 people to share 3 servings of meat (about 600 grams), 2 sides, and 3 drinks. Note: This restaurant has branches in other locations as well; my friends also recommended their roasted chicken and Caesar salad. #AmsterdamEats #AmsterdamLife #AmsterdamFood #AmsterdamFoodExploration
