🌹 Amsterdam | Hidden Gem French Bistro 🌹

After a city walk, I spontaneously walked into a traditional French restaurant where every dish was astonishingly delicious! ✨ 🍷 The owner runs a wine shop next door, with an extensive and thick wine list. The sommelier was very patient, and the recommended white wine (vin blanc) had a sweet and smooth taste of peaches. 🍑 🧑🏼‍🍳 The chef's menu matched exactly what I wanted to order. Since it was an open kitchen, the chef even greeted me personally, haha! 😄 🦪 For the pre-meal cold dish, I ordered oysters, which were large and fresh, with a subtle infusion of lime and passion fruit, not fishy or greasy, but fragrant, sweet, and very appetizing. 🌟 🍞 The pre-meal bread was served with butter that had a sweet but not overpowering lemon aroma. 🍋 🍊 The scallops ceviche perfectly blended with blood orange, so delicious that I wanted to lick the plate clean. The waitress saw me finish and laughed heartily when I kept sipping the sauce. 🙂 🐟 The Confit Halibut with a creamy sauce was not greasy at all, with a hint of fruit and vegetable fragrance. The fish was slightly caramelized on the surface, with a delicate texture, tender and juicy, surprisingly pairing well with the slightly roasted broccoli. 🥦 🍮 The sweetness of passion fruit and plum completely masked the sweetness of the chocolate, giving an illusion of being back at Le Cinq. 🥹 In summary, this is a delicious, affordable French restaurant with excellent service and no service charge. The interior has just been renovated, featuring a simple yet classic style. #AmsterdamFoodie #AmsterdamEats #AmsterdamFrenchFood #Amsterdam #FrenchCuisine #RestaurantHopping
