Amsterdam | The Fourth Yakitori Spot Has Arrived 🍢
After Hakata Senpachi, Yakitori la Kushi, and Yakitori Hanabi, I've discovered a fourth yakitori izakaya in Amsterdam, Yuzu Dining, which has quietly been in business for a year and a half since it opened from The Hague! We, two big eaters, managed to finish ten skewers each plus three appetizers, and we were completely satisfied with the overall taste. This yakitori place only grills chicken. While they don't have special parts like lanterns or white children, all the commonly eaten parts are basically on the menu. The only downside is the lack of desserts. I originally planned to order everything from the menu, but after finishing one round, I was already half full. My favorites were the chicken neck, chicken liver, and chicken breast bone. The chicken was all grilled juicy, with only a few dips being a bit salty. The least recommended is the tenderloin, a plain white chicken fillet 🫤. For the appetizers, the chicken liver paste had a very unique texture, served on fried mochi waffles. The fried rice sticks were delicious, similar to glutinous rice cakes but made with rice, so they're not as sticky and have a crispy miso butter that's a bit salty. The tomato salad was a minefield 💣. Like the other yakitori places in Amsterdam, it uses an open charcoal grill, and you don't leave with a strong smell of charcoal, which is a plus. Everyone comes to eat and drink, and the atmosphere is perfect for gatherings and dates. Average cost per person 💰70💶 #AmsterdamFood #AmsterdamExplore #Yakitori #Izakaya #WhatToEatOnTheWeekend
