Amsterdam Exhibition | STRAAT 🎨

When in Amsterdam, Van Gogh is a must-see, but I also think that the STRAAT Museum is definitely worth a visit. STRAAT Museum, the world's largest street art museum, is located in an abandoned warehouse at the NDSM Wharf. Even when street art is brought indoors, the size of the works is not compromised. The 8000 square meter space is perfectly suited for large-scale street creations. πŸ“The museum currently displays works from over 170 artists, with nearly 180 pieces, all created on-site. Works from now well-known and influential street artists such as Shepard Fairey and Mr. Doodle have been exhibited here. πŸ“Street art originated in the United States in the 60s-70s as an emotional outlet for social injustices. Over time, street art has evolved from being seen as the mischief of delinquents to gradually occupying a place in mainstream culture. When in Amsterdam, aside from seeking out Rembrandt and Vermeer, STRAAT is truly worth a visit. #NetherlandsExhibition #ExhibitionShare #VisitingExhibitions #Amsterdam #Netherlands #StreetArt #Graffiti #Europe #EverydayHappyMoments
