Amsterdam Food Share 🍽️✨

🌟Nestled in a riverside alley, there's a century-old restaurant specializing in Dutch cuisine called "Five Flies." This place feels more like a scenic spot or art gallery than a restaurant. The vintage decor inside, under dim lighting, exudes a strong sense of history, and the layout, reminiscent of a maze, offers a changing view with every step. 🌟Exquisite paintings and relief panels are everywhere, 17th-century armor and weapons hang on the walls, the tables are antique Delft blue tiles, and the chairs are engraved with plaques of celebrities who have dined here (like Elvis Presley). It is said that the restaurant also houses four original Rembrandt etchings. 🌟However, the food pales in comparison to the ambiance! We only ordered four dishes for dinner. The appetizer was quite ordinary, and the main course of duck breast with balsamic sauce, onions, and roasted pumpkin (I'm not a fan of duck 😐). The only highlight was the dessert: white chocolate mousse + eggnog custard + raspberry cream + nut cookies, which was somewhat innovative ~ Including drinks, the average cost per person was €60. #Amsterdam #RestaurantHopping #HiddenGemRestaurantShare #RestaurantRecommendation #GlobalFoodieSquad #EatingAndDrinking #FoodDaily
