Our group was pretty large, so we decided to go all-in and share a few platters. Our meat tray came packed with pork, brisket, turkey, and ribs – a true carnivore’s dream! For sides, we shared baked beans, mac and cheese, white bread, fries, and hushpuppies. The brisket, fries, and hushpuppies were my absolute favorites – tender, flavorful, and totally satisfying. The turkey, though, was a bit on the dry side. 😊🍗 We sat at picnic-style tables in the semi-open dining area. It did rain earlier, so there were a few puddles around, and the vibe felt a bit less than pristine – but hey, that’s part of the rustic charm, right? No real way around it! 🌧️🪑 One thing I loved was being able to see where they slow-smoke the meat – that unmistakable aroma and visible care added to the authentic vibe.🪑 A fun extra: they offer games like ping pong, darts, and cornhole! To borrow equipment, they’ll hold onto your ID or credit card until everything’s returned.
