🏨 An Excellent Hotel Experience – Riu Plaza Fisherman’s Wharf! 🌟

We had a wonderful stay at the Riu Plaza Fisherman’s Wharf, and it’s clear that this hotel takes cleanliness, comfort, and service seriously across every area. 🧼 Impeccably Clean Throughout From the rooms and lobby to the restaurant, bar, and restrooms — every space was spotless. The restrooms were well-stocked and maintained at all hours, which truly stood out. 🍳 Breakfast – Busy But Well-Managed Yes, it gets busy, and lines can form — but the staff handled the flow efficiently. Even when we arrived late, the wait was no more than 10 minutes. Pro tip: check the “busy hours” notice and arrive a bit earlier for quicker seating. The selection was great, though compared to other Riu properties, a fresh cooking station was missed. That said, having stayed at Riu Plaza in Chicago and Manhattan, this seems to be the norm in the U.S. 🍹 Reasonably Priced Drinks Very fair pricing for a hotel — consistent with what we experienced in Chicago and Manhattan. 👏 Outstanding & Welcoming Staff Upon check-in, a female manager came to greet us — a thoughtful touch, especially as Diamond members. Everyone was cheerful and provided excellent service when needed. Our housekeeper kept the room immaculate and fully stocked. 🛌 Spacious & Comfortable Suite We received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite — and it was fantastic! Very spacious, in great condition, quiet, and comfortable. The main bedroom had the high-standard Riu bed we love. The lounge/dining area included a sofa bed and a single roller bed, both comfortable for our 16-year-old. Plenty of space and everything neatly arranged. 💎 Loyal Riu Diamond Guests As loyal Riu Diamond members, we’ll definitely return on our next trip to San Francisco.
