An Experience Full of Soul – Hits & Misses 🍗🎭
Let’s talk about the fried chicken first—it’s impressively large in size, though it comes with a price (drumstick $7, thigh $8, breast $9). The drumstick was almost as big as a turkey leg—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The spice blend was beautifully balanced with a subtle sweetness. However, the salt level was inconsistent; my chicken thigh was unfortunately too salty. The crust, while tasty, was also a bit too hard for my preference.🙌❤️ Mac & Cheese 🧀 – If you love rich, cheesy, and creamy mac and cheese, this one’s for you. The portion is generous and definitely shareable. Truly comforting and satisfying! Deviled Eggs 🥚 – A creative twist featuring Po'boy hummus, sweet sauce, crispy onions, and scallion garnish. Sadly, these were also over-salted. I’d probably skip this next time. Overall, Red Rooster Harlem offers a great vibe and friendly service. Some dishes shine, while others fall short. If you go, expect a lively and culturally rich dining experience—just order carefully.😍👌 Will I return? Yes, but I’ll be more selective next time.👍 #RedRoosterHarlem #SoulFood #FriedChickenReview #MacAndCheeseLove #HitOrMiss
