An Incredible Chef's Experience - Worthy of a Michelin Star!!!!๐
My husband and I had heard about this restaurant (located in the Argonaut Hotel) and its chef, ๐๐Amod Singh, so we decided to try it while visiting San Francisco. As soon as we arrived, โจโจwe met the chef and asked him to prepare a tasting menu for us... we left it all in his hands! Not only did he exceed our expectations, but he prepared several unique vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for the two of us! The manager, ๐๐Tony, was also incredibly friendly and welcoming and prepared some wine pairings for us. ๐The restaurant has a nautical theme and seems quite casual, but the food we ate here deserved white tablecloths...!๐๐ We started with an amazing appetizer, ๐๐the Tuna Tartare... the presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was incredible!! Then we had a "flavor bomb," a small, crispy Indian puri filled with a delicious tamarind-spiced water that exploded in the mouth. Next, I had curry scallops,โจโจ and my husband had a vegetable curry... my goodness, the scallops melted in my mouth, and the flavor was so rich. The following dish was a lobster tail with an Indian twist... again, โจโจso delicious! As if we weren't full enough, โจthe final savory course was a refined version of chicken biryani... again, โจโจthe chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender.
