An Incredible Chef's Experience - Worthy of a Michelin Star!!!!😍
My husband and I had heard about this restaurant (located in the Argonaut Hotel) and its chef, 😍😍Amod Singh, so we decided to try it while visiting San Francisco. As soon as we arrived, ✨✨we met the chef and asked him to prepare a tasting menu for us... we left it all in his hands! Not only did he exceed our expectations, but he prepared several unique vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for the two of us! The manager, 😍😍Tony, was also incredibly friendly and welcoming and prepared some wine pairings for us. 💙The restaurant has a nautical theme and seems quite casual, but the food we ate here deserved white tablecloths...!😍😍 We started with an amazing appetizer, 😍😍the Tuna Tartare... the presentation was beautiful, and the flavor was incredible!! Then we had a "flavor bomb," a small, crispy Indian puri filled with a delicious tamarind-spiced water that exploded in the mouth. Next, I had curry scallops,✨✨ and my husband had a vegetable curry... my goodness, the scallops melted in my mouth, and the flavor was so rich. The following dish was a lobster tail with an Indian twist... again, ✨✨so delicious! As if we weren't full enough, ✨the final savory course was a refined version of chicken biryani... again, ✨✨the chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender.
