Ancient Roman Arena in the Heart of Paris 🏛️

While wandering the streets of Paris with my friend, playing one of those monster-hunting games, we stumbled upon a doorway with a historical vibe in the 5th arrondissement. Sure enough, there was a historical plaque nearby, and to our surprise, it was an ancient Roman arena! We didn’t hesitate to go inside, and wow, the sense of history is overwhelming! The central arena is massive! If you're in Paris, definitely check out this historical gem—it’s worth the visit! A quick Google search brought up more info: Square des Arènes de Lutèce is a charming park in Paris’s 5th arrondissement. It’s one of the few remaining relics from Roman times in Paris, originally part of the Roman arena of Lutetia. Today, it’s a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike, perfect for relaxing, walking, and soaking in some history right in the city center. 🚇 Metro Line 7 - Stop at Place Monge #WeekendPlans #Paris #RecordingTheMoment #ExploringParis #WalkTheWorld #AncientRomanColosseum
