Andaz Tokyo | Tokyo Tower Lights Out at Midnight (1)π
I was torn between Andaz Tokyo and The Tokyo Edition for a long time. π In the end, I chose Andaz for two main reasons: First, this particular Andaz was designed by my favorite designer, Tony Chi, and I love his work. Second, Hyatt tends to be more generous with World of Hyatt members, offering a higher chance of room upgrades and complimentary breakfast for two. π In contrast, at the Edition and Ritz-Carlton levels, Marriott tends to offer fewer benefits to Platinum members. π Even though I still have a soft spot for the Edition brand, I don't regret my choice for this Tokyo trip. The Andaz Tokyo truly embodies that Japanese style can be both minimalist and luxurious. πͺ I highly recommend booking a tower view room here. The room orientation is perfectly aligned with Tokyo Tower. As soon as you open the door and walk through the entrance hall, you're greeted with a breathtaking view of Tokyo Tower. π Surprisingly, the lobby bar on the 51st floor and the Sky Bar on the 52nd floor do not face Tokyo Tower, so the best views are actually from the rooms. #Tokyo ππ
