Angel’s Share is Really Awesome! 🌟
Today I visited Angel’s Share in West Village. This place is definitely one of the best Japanese bars in New York. The flavors of the drinks are meticulously crafted, and the structure of the tastes is quite unique. 🍸 Cheek to Cheek🍓 Rum-based, with a blend of berries, white cranberries, and mascarpone. It tastes like a berry tea with a yogurt topping, almost like a dessert drink. 🍓 Painted Paradise🧊 This one is super visually appealing. Shochu-based, it has a strong sense of flavor layers and a very refreshing taste. 🌴 Street Scene🍵 Two matcha lovers ordered this mainly because of the “matcha milk cap.” However, the matcha flavor was actually quite subtle. The base is gin, with yuzu, coffee, and Sichuan pepper. Overall, it’s refreshing. 🍵 I also ordered the classic dry martini and gimlet. Both were exceptional (you have to try them to understand just how good they are). The bartender’s skills are truly impressive. No wonder it’s called the “Whampoa Military Academy of Japanese mixology.” I’d say this is my favorite bar in New York so far! #NewYork 🌉🌟
