AnimeJapan is one of the world's largest anime industry expos, focusing on the release of new works, industry networking, and fan experiences. Hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Japan Animation Association, and the Tokyo Anime Fair Executive Committee, the 2025 AnimeJapan event took place on March 22nd (Saturday) - 23rd (Sunday) at the Tokyo Big Sight East Exhibition Halls 1-8. π πππ AnimeJapan 2025 marks its twelfth edition, with a record-breaking 117 exhibitors showcasing over 160 animated works, drawing an audience of more than 150,000 visitors. πππ The expo featured many highly anticipated works, such as Bandai Namco's "My Hero Academia" series, the new Gundam universe, "Jujutsu Kaisen" (Yu Yu Yu chapter), "Lycoris Recoil," "WIND BREAKER" Season 2, "Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic," and "Moonlight War" (Netflix). πππ Advance tickets were priced at 2500 yen, while day-of tickets cost 2800 yen.
