Ar-Haan Thai Restaurant & Bar

I stumbled upon a highly-rated Thai restaurant on Google near Rice University and decided to give it a try. This place is tucked away in a residential building, with the restaurant on the first floor🍴 and presumably the owner's home on the second floor🏠. There's no formal signboard—just a simple “OPEN” poster that adds a touch of the mystery of a private kitchen😂. The restaurant is small but exudes a cozy and charming atmosphere. Each table is adorned with a little lamp💡 and a flower🌹, full of thoughtful details that make you feel right at home. Rolls of Saim: I opted for the chicken-filled spring rolls again. The filling includes shredded carrots🥕, glass noodles, cabbage🥬, and minced chicken🍗. The outer skin is golden and crispy. When dipped in the Thai sweet and sour sauce, the combination of sweet, sour, and a hint of spiciness creates a rich and satisfying texture. It's a safe and delicious choice every time. Volcano Beef: The “volcano”🌋part of the dish is probably just because of the plate's shape😂. The dish features chunks of wagyu beef🥩, bell peppers🫑, and basil. The overall flavor is a mix of sweet and spicy. I chose the “hot” level🌶️, which does add a bit of heat. The beef is tender and flavorful, perfect for a meal. The only downside is that the portion is a bit small, leaving you wanting more! #Houston Exploration #Houston Food #Hidden Gem Restaurant #Thai Cuisine #Wagyu Rice #Curry Noodles
