Are New York's Chinese Restaurants This Advanced Already??? 🌟
The back room feels like a club, with screens on the ceiling and a DJ spinning tunes. Eating authentic Ningbo cuisine here feels like magical realism. I can only say: This is truly New York! 🌆 🏙️There are many Ningbo dishes on the menu, with names I’m not familiar with. I ordered a few dishes by guesswork. They looked ordinary but tasted surprisingly good. I even had sauce crab from the East China Sea! The crab meat is perfectly shelled, melting in your mouth with fresh, tender flesh. 🦀 The Youtang Yu Nai Geng (oil dregs and taro milk soup) sounded mysterious at first. I hesitated to order it, but when it arrived, it was incredibly rich, with soft taro and seafood inside. It’s the ultimate comfort food for a Chinese kid. I told my friend it’s perfect for when you’re feeling under the weather—a bowl makes everything better. 🥣 🎢 The dried scallop with night-blooming cereus is a light, broth-based dish with winter melon and shredded scallops. The crispy yellow croaker roll is crispy and delicious. The “stinky winter melon” sounds funny but tastes like pickled vegetables. 🍲 While we were eating, the bar area was already filling up with diners waiting for their tables. 🍃 The average cost per person is around $70, in downtown New York.
