Arizona’s Arcosanti: An Ideal Escape from Reality 🤍

In the heart of Arizona lies a place called Arcosanti. From the outside, it may seem desolate, but inside, it’s teeming with life. It’s like an oasis in the chaos of its time. 🕌 Built in 1970, it might have been that people were disappointed with the world then. They created this pure land for themselves, free from war, free from school shootings, far from all that is unpleasant—a utopia where one can truly be themselves. 🎫: Visiting the architecture is free. We opted for their tour, which is $22 per person (you can decide whether you want the tour when you get there, and it’s not crowded). Some residents might just be staying for a short while, some decide to volunteer after experiencing it, and others choose to live here for decades. The people who remain are still working towards being self-sufficient one day. If they truly achieve complete isolation, would you move there to live? Just want to say: 🍑 I don’t have the courage to escape reality just yet, haha. ⚠️ Just a heads up, there’s a 5-minute drive on a sandy road at the end. #travel #offtheradar #daytrip #photography #architecture #architecturaldesign #uncommontraveldestinations #hiddengems #Arizona #ArizonaTravel #Arcosanti #instagramworthy #utopia #travel #photocheckpoint
