Around the Bay Area | The Ultimate Guide to Snoopy’s Hometown!

✨Starting from Stanford in the South Bay, it’s about a 2-hour drive to Santa Rosa — the hometown of Snoopy! 🚗💨 🍜 Lunch Spot: Ippinn Udon & Tempura A fairly standard bowl of udon—nothing too impressive, despite what some influencers say. Portions aren’t huge, so temper your expectations. 📸 🎨 Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center Student: $5 | Adult: $12 A compact but charming museum. You can easily explore and take photos within an hour. The gift shop at the entrance offers cute Snoopy merch 🛍️. The first floor displays classic comic strips, while the second floor shares the life story of the creator, Charles M. Schulz. 🏘️ Santa Rosa Downtown A cozy little town with several antique stores worth browsing. Don’t miss Whistlestop Antiques — it’s way more chic and curated compared to antique malls I’ve been to in OC or Vegas! ✨ The whole downtown is sprinkled with Snoopy-themed details — such a laid-back, pleasant place. 🍷 Wine Tasting in Sonoma We chose a lesser-known winery: Russian River Vineyards $30 for a tasting of 5 wines — you can share between two people. The selection includes three reds, one rosé, and one white. The vibe here is super relaxed, and it’s great value. Perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. 📍 🍽️ Dinner: Blue Ridge Kitchen A modern American restaurant that totally won me over — the food was delicious! Stay tuned for a full review in my next post! 📸✨ #US #CA #Sonoma
