Around Vancouver | Great Spots for Kids in Abbotsford 👶 It’s once again the annual season when tulips are in full bloom. This year, we still headed to Abbotsford to see the tulips 🌷—pure magic! 📍 Lakeland Flowers 3663 Marion Rd, Abbotsford, BC V3G 2J6 It’s been warmer this year, so all the tulips are in full bloom! 🌈 Rows and rows of vibrant colors—pink, yellow, purple, red—stretching as far as the eye can see. The season runs until May 13th, and the ticket price is the same as last year. We’ve had nothing but sunny days lately, so hurry and go before they fade! ☀️ On our way to the tulip fields, we stopped by two farms to check them out: 📍 EcoFarm 1356 Sumas Way, Abbotsford, BC V2S 8R1 They offer paid VIP tours (so fun for little ones to get up close with animals! 🐄), or you can feed the small animals for free—goats, sheep, and more. The kids were obsessed with the fluffy calves! 📍 Birchwood Dairy Farm 1154 Fadden Rd, Abbotsford, BC V3G 1T9 This place has ice cream in lots of flavors 🍦, and there’s always a long line (worth the wait, trust us!). They sell 5% full-fat milk—we’d never seen that before, so we didn’t dare buy it, but we might try it next time 🥛. There are fewer small animals here, but you can still feed them for free, and every afternoon you can watch the milking process—fascinating for curious kids! The two farms are close to each other, so it’s worth popping in if you’re passing by, but not really worth making a special trip for. 📍 Castle Fun Park 36165 N Parallel Rd, Abbotsford, BC V3G 2K8 An indoor arcade with bowling 🎳, mini-golf, and tons of arcade games—endless fun! There’s also outdoor go-karting outside 🏎️—perfect for kids (and big kids!) to burn off energy. Abbotsford is *such* a great day trip for families—tulips, animals, and games?
