Around Vancouver | The Charming Abbotsford Abbotsford is home to many lovely small shops, farms, and wineries—truly a little countryside within the city 😘 👒 Tuscan Farm Gardens A beautifully designed garden, not the row-upon-row lavender fields. It has ponds, small bridges, seats, and pavilions～ Their honey lavender ice cream comes highly recommended; I ordered mine with a shot of espresso. 👒 Mann Farms A popular farm with seasonal activities paired with themed ice cream: pumpkin patches, corn mazes, sunflower festivals, barn yards, u-pick options, wine tastings, etc. 🌾 👒 Applebarn Pumpkin Farm aka Taves Farms They don’t just have pumpkin patches—they also grow a wide variety of apples 🤩 My favorite is the ambrosia 💛 It’s like a shorter version of Grouse Grind, but the entire trail is extremely steep 😥 In one word: tiring! And the view isn’t worth all the effort 🦦 👒 Ripples Winery An absolutely adorable winery. Their "secret garden" is an indoor garden—a natural oxygen bar. Sitting by the goldfish pond, sipping wine, and enjoying cheese is pure bliss 🥂 👒 Duft and Co Bakehouse An incredibly popular little shop. If you don’t pre-order online, you need to get there early—by 11 AM, there’s basically nothing left to choose from 😩 Once they sell out, they close up. It’s rare to see a shop run this way. Their croissants and danishes are super popular 👏 👒 Oldhand Coffee If Duft and Co has sold out, you can head here—their sandwiches are tasty. 👒 Montrose Ave This area is probably Abbotsford’s downtown.
