Asakura Sculpture Museum 🎨✨
This week’s #ArtWalk led me to the hidden gem of Asakura Sculpture Museum in Yanaka! 🚶♀️ 🌿 Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this place feels like stepping into a serene artistic sanctuary 🏛️🍂. The entrance fee was 500 yen 💴, and the museum is open from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM ⏳). I spent about an hour and a half admiring the elegant sculptures and the beautiful Japanese-style garden surrounding the atelier . The way natural light filters through the windows onto the sculptures was magical! The highlight? The rooftop garden 🌿🏡 with its panoramic view of old Tokyo—so peaceful and nostalgic 🏙️ Plus, the ivy-covered walls and mossy stones gave the whole place a storybook vibe 📖✨. Before leaving, I stopped by the small café ☕🍪 near the exit for a cup of matcha latte (400 yen)—the perfect way to reflect on all the beauty I’d just seen 🧘♀️💚. If you love art, history, and quiet escapes, this museum is a must-visit! 🎭❤️ #ArtLover #AsakuraMuseum #HiddenTokyo #YanakaVibes 🌸
